2002 R53 Air Bag/ SRS light
My R53 airbag light is on. When I hook up my Creator C310+, I get a "0B Battery, positive terminal isolation 1" fault code, After I clear it, I get "04 Airbag, passenger, stage 1" code. When I clear that one, it returns to the battery code again. I have replaced the battery cable. My original cable was not blown. I tried the resistor trick with 3 different resistors. Still the same. I'm lost. Thanks in advance.

Yes I Did.
I exhausted all my research, brought it to a MINI independent repair shop and it stumped everyone so off to MINI of Warwick RI and they chased down a faulty connector that runs with the Positive cable. They had to gut the interior to get to it too $767.00 ($9.00 in parts) later, the light is off. I changed cable ends, air bag modules and put in the resistors with no luck. I think if I would have changed the whole cable instead of just the end, I would have found it. Good luck with yours. NBC

You wouldn’t happen to know the part number, or any idea of it’s location? $9 sounds like I would rip out the floor to fix it if I can vs the >$1000 I’m looking at otherwise. When you say runs alongside the positive, is it in line? Or splits off?
