I recently broke the reverse shift fork in the mini. I have the transmission apart (car is out of warrenty) and cannot find a source for parts, apparently mini only sells the transmission as a unit. I called mini and got no help. The same with the local dealerships. Does anyone out there have a source for parts, other than a junk yard.

 

Wow, that is interesting! Can the part be repaired or machined from billet?
