Default 4th gear transmission "flare"

Have a 2006 S with auto trans that has a shifting flare between 3rd & 4th gear. It happens after the car has been driven a while and is thoroughly warmed up. One of the ways we have been getting around the issue is to take it out of automatic and put in "manual" thereby shifting it with the stick. Another way to get around it most of the time has been to also use the paddle shift on the wheel. Again, this works most times, but on occasion it will still "flare".

Has anyone else had this problem and what is the solution???

Possible solution is to change the transmission oil. Drain and fill IAW manufacturers reccomendations
