Question Airbag light

I have an 03 cooper s and the airbg light won't stay off. When i scanned the car it came back with a couple different things.

80 power supply
11 battery, possitive terminal isolation 1

i cleared the code but it comes right back as an 11 perm code.
I have looked everywhere that i can think of to find out what this means but can't find an answer.

Default Airbag Light On...No Electronics?

We just drove our 03s back home to Torrance from Vegas this morning...pulled in the driveway without a problem. About ten minutes later I went to start the car and the AIRBAG dash light is on and an unusual clicking sound is coming from the dash...I turn the key and everything goes dead. The wipers start to slowly go up from their rest position and the clicking continues. The remote will not lock the car and the windows do not drop when the doors are opened...like the damn thing is possessed The car has the original battery...voltage when checked with a multimeter is 12.4V and never appeared to have any prior battery or charging issues.

Can anyone point me in the right direction before I rip into it or tow it to the repair shop?

Thank you...

Take the battery out and go to autozone or any parts place. The battery must be load tested. Just using a multimeter across the terminals tells you nothing about how it performs under load.

Thank you acejones...that's exactly what I did and the battery was BAD. I replaced the battery and all has been good.
