I was wondering is or anybody that knows how one can roll down the driver side window by just a quarter of an inch?

I'm driving my car today and I just want to crack the window a bit. Now what happens when I get the little toggle switch on the center console is that window rolled most the way down, then I have to roll it up till I get to the right height. Is there something I can do to just make it down a smidge?
