Good morning. I have a 04 Mini Cooper. I'm unable to open the passenger side window. I hear a click from the toggle switch.
Any troubleshooting ideas before I take it to the Mini Dealer would be appreciated.

if your window is corrupted with rust,its normal operation will surely be hindered... your window switch will defiitely fail as what i had experienced two months ago. the dealer told me it should be taken care and maintenance must be done. since mine was totally damaged, i had bought a new mercedes window switch for my mercedes vehicle. i ordered it through online...

 

I got the same problem with an 04 MCS. What did you end

heres what you do to test to see if your motor is shot. hit the door panel on the upper left side real hard. turn power on and see if you windows go up or down. if they go up or down the you need a new motor. the reason why the y will work is cause that is a built in safety mechanism for when the car is hit on that side you will be able to climb out the window in the case where your door wont open. once you do that then you must replace the windows it only last about two days max.
