I had taken off my wheel to check the connection on the control arm and it is plugged in fine. See what happened was it was working and then i replaced my clutch and after that it stopped working! Sounds like the leveler in the front is bad or disconnected , I would also check the rear and bracket. But since its one of them, something internal might a broken.

Check out this thread for more info.

Xenon headlights act weirdly when turned on - North American Motoring

I had a similar problem on one of the headlights - did come with a motor-noise when trying to adjust the light - but nothing happened.
Then took out the light (after removing the 3 nuts that holds it) - and was still not able to see any problems, Re-connected to the car - adjusted up and down - noise, but no movement of anything.
Could locate the motor, but it was impossible to get access to it. Search the internet, and found several places where the message was "impossible to solve - get a new headlight" - so I concluded - what to loose.
So I cut out part of the lamp to get better access - and while I had somebody to adjust the lamp, I could now push and press different places - and suddenly it start moving.
Turned out to be that the axel was too tight - so I greased it with thin grease - and it then worked perfectly,
Closed the cover again - had planned to use glue, but ended just using duck-tape.
Re-inserted the light - AND IT ALL WORKED AGAIN !!

Cut out this part of the headlight. MAKE sure not to cut too deep at the top where the motor is located

Access to the motor and spindle

The screewdriver shows where the spindle is moving (or should be!). This is where I gave it some grease.

placed the cut-out pease back again
