A few months ago, during a moment of weakness and / or boredom, I decided to acquire yet another project car. This time a 2006 Mini Cooper S, it was in need of work and what got me was the fact it was a DINAN S Mini Cooper S. I'd heard about these and apparently they are somewhat rare. I figured I would give it a shot at restoring it and making it a fun daily driver.

Hopefully, once I start digging into it, I will be able to get some help and guidance from here. My initial task will be to find a good engine and swap the heads as apparently, this one has a DINAN Enhanced head, etc.

 

Just me or not a very busy forum / board?

Welcome to the forum! I'm new to Mini's myself and have never heard of this model. What makes the "Dinan" models different?
