Hi new to the forum.

My wife's mini cooper s r53 it's a 2002 has developed a tappy rattly noise coming from the engine. It now sounds like a tractor.



When this started it was driven approx 5 miles home and now have taken it off the road.



Has anyone had a similar issue is so what was the outcome?
