I dont no if this is a common fault on the 2003 cooper S but when you lift the bonnet the lights also come up and the headlight washer pipe moves up when the bonnet is up and down when it closes, When you shut the bonnet this sometimes causes the pipe to kink like a hose and no water comes out!
my pipe burst because of this and i am now having to order a new one from BMW

does anyone know if when the washer cleans the headlight it does one side then it does the otherside ?
or are they both ment to come out at the same time ......go back down then a few second later they both come out again with more water spray ??
