Default New Mini Owner

Hi I just bought a 2002 MCS Base model, it has 108k and seems to run just fine. I can hear a bit of whining when i crank the wheel all the way to the left or right but doesnt seems to be a big deal. Im curious to know if there is anything i should know about owning a mini, im fairly handy, my first car was a 94 camaro that i rebuilt twice. Any servicing that needs to be done around the 100k mark? I have also never owned a car with a S/C. thanks for any tips.

I'd check the power steering level first ...

There are two notches on the dipstick attached to the cap, should i fill it to one of those or fill it to the top?
