Default Onboard Computer Messages

Is there any way to see the onboard computer service messages through the dash display? I know I can see outside air temp, mileage, miles left, etc. But I am looking for servicing messages.

Thanks.

Hi, Just bought a 2007 version and I've set the temperature and time display so it shows the current vehicle speed. The handbook suggests that if you do this that the temperature and time then appear on the computer display. At present I only see the temperature and not the time. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to display both settings?
Thanks

*UPDATE*
Apologies, the car is an R56 version and not R53 so under the wrong forum!
