Hi guys,

I'm a newbie and I've searched for this issue but couldn't find it anywhere. I have a 04 cooper s and the parking sensors worked great for the first month after I bought it, but recently the reverse lamp went out and the parking sensors don't work. After taking out the bulb the parking sensors begin to work again, but I can't get the bulb to turn on. After describing the issue to the Mini service department, they have suggested that the switch located near the transmission that triggers the bulb to turn on and in turn makes the parking sensors work ma be faulty. Does anyone know how easy this is to replace? They only want to charge me $104 US for labor, so I was thinking it shouldn't be too bad. Any help would be appreciated!
