Thanks for the reply. I'd feel better if the car was at a Mini Dealer and had
gone through their inspection rather than where it is at a Honda dealer (what do they know about minis). They pulled the car around from the back of the store, but when I tried to start it, it only clicked. Had to be jump started. Hmmm. An intermittant?? They machined all the rotors, put on new pads, an O2 sensor, air filter and a few other odds n ends. The car was owned and driven by an older woman and it doesn't appear to have been abused. It shows really well. No blow-by via the oil fill pipe and everything is nice and clean in there so the oil has been changed regularly. Decisions decisions. I'm driving a Mini dealers 06 convt. w/19k miles on it tomorrow. Right now I'm more inclined to stay simple and do without the supercharging etc until I learn my way around the car. I like to tinker and looking under the hood at a big intercooler is a bit daunting. My sons turbo Subaru requires removal of the battery, air box and other little items just to change the spark plugs - and thats the easy part! Thanks again for the advice.
