Default Tranny flush

Hello folks. I read somewhere that the recommended tranny fluid for my S, Texaco MTF-94, is IDENTICAL to the Honda manual transmission fluid. Is this true? Has anybody tried to use the Honda MTF in place of mtf-94?

Is there an easy-to-find tranny fluid out there that can be satisfactorily used in place of mtf-94??? Royal Purple? Mobil? I'm leaning towards Amsoil's mtf:

I have read a lot of great reviews on amsoil. At around 30 bucks for 2 quarts, its STILL cheaper than getting 2 quarts of mtf-94 from the local dealer.
Thanks!

As always, thanks to BV. I found a guy selling MTF by the quart near where I am AND he doesn't charge for shipping...just cost + tax. Not a bad deal huh?
