Default Aftermarket radio

hi, first of all i was wondering how hard it would be to change out my stock radio for an aftermarket one? furthermore, if i do change it out, can i still wire my multi-function steering wheel through the new radio.? Thanks a lot!

Hi, so has anyone successfully integrated a new stereo to the multifunctional wheel? If so, which brand/model are best?

Thanks!

same question, including integration of the steering wheel phone controls.

btw

A local car audio shop only knew that the high end pioneer systems can be integrated directly with the music controls. Also, if the head unit has a rf remote, an adapter can be bought which will support the music controls. (check on this, some specific jvc and sony un tis not supported)

Hey, you can do an aftermarket stereo very easily as long as you don't have the Harman upgrade. If you have the Harman upgrade you have to run all new wires to the speakers. I've never seen anyone get the multifunction steering wheel to work with any aftermarket radio.
