Actually it wasn't, the hardest part was getting the cigarette lighter out of it's socket. To take it out, you have to take the whole center console to pieces. Once i got it out i ran the wire to come out the back of the console so its now behind the screen, the DVD player is powered from it. The reason i didn't hard wire is because i want to be able to put everything back together without damage, if i deceide to remove it. The DVD player is underneath the passenger footwell, i did have it in the glove box but then i couldn't get anything else in there (i have attached a pic, you can even see the DVD player it's nicely hidden). The only thing i have to do is get a blank for the cigerette lighter hole, and cut that to size to hide that little part of the hole where you can see the wire and then it's complete. Oh yeah, i also have this wired up to the AUX on the radio, so it plays through the car speakers.
