im new so please be gentle. I don’t know all,of the Mini lingo.

I have a 2014 Cooper S with what I’m guessing is a basic head unit and the HK amp/speaker system. This head unit is not a screen that would be associated with nav or video. It’s just the basic info. Station, song info when in sat mode, General car info and such. What I’d like to do is “upgrade” to the navigation unit/screen without losing any of the functionality like the car menu/information if it possible.

So so my questions are:

1. Was there a nav screen option radio available for the ‘14?

2. If so, can it be swapped into my car fairly easily?

3. If it can be, will it retain full functionality?

4. Does anyone have experience with Bavsound speaker upgrades? (Is it worth the $?)

i just replaced everything in mine with all cerwin vega and it sounds great
hit me up with new install ?'s and roadbumps...
