I just got an 03 Cooper S and I was wondering if anyone has purchased the Ipod interface from Mini and how that works for them. Also, how much was it including installation? I have friends that use Itrip to play their ipods in their cars and I know that's pretty cheap, like $50 but I'm not sure how the quality of the music is. Also, the Itrip does not charge your ipod while in use right? I would appreciate any feedback on equipment to play the ipod. Thanks in advance! Jenn

 

Buy the ipod interface. Expensive at close to 500 but it is a direct connection with no static or interference. Plus it is controlled from the steering controls. If that is too much try the Kensington which finds the free channels automatically. That's 90 dollars.
