Default Dealer's paint protectant for new mini?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Will be receiving my new 08 Cooper within the next 2-3 weeks. I called the dealer today to inquire about purchasing a nose bra or something to protect the front of the car from insects and small dings. He recommended a product called, "Road Block" which is a thin film which they cut out to the contours of the lower hood and most of the rest of the front of the car, and somehow attach. Does anyone know anything about this product, or have any recomendations. The one time application is fairly costly. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Get the 3M Clear Guard it is the best out there. I am getting mine done for 450. I happen to know the guy that does it for the dealer.
