My wife has just bought a 2013 mini cooper coupe john cooper works . It is fitted with 17" JCW cross spoke alloys and as usual does not come with a spare wheel. I want a wheel which will fit this car to keep in my garage as a spare wheel. i would prefer a normal wheel as opposed to a space saver. as i am relatively new to the new minis, has anyone any idea what wheel will fit so I can get one for a spare. Thanks in anticipation

 

Full-size wheel will fit in the trunk, strap it down with bungee cords to the metal hooks in the back.

This is what i did bought a wheel of CL for $30 make sure it is the bolts pattern 4x100 You can also use any 4 lugs Honda rim or the Mazda Miata rim 4x100. It is a spare so don't need to be a matching one, It is a temporary fixed until you replace your original tire if you get a flat.
