Can I have a spare?
Last March I finally got my Mini, a 2009 Convertible, only 40k miles. 
Needless to say the OEM tires are due to be replaced, and I'm not real big on the run flats. I'd prefer to have a spare, but as far as I can tell I don't even have all of the mounting equipment (lifter bar, and brackets). I foolishly bought a spare before realizing this, and am worried I will need to be returning it. Thus far the dealer and two online sales places have been unable to answer my question. is it possible for a base R57 to even carry a spare? I'd prefer to have one, but it may be more worth my time to be looking for a good fix a flat package.
Anyone know? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
