I recently purchased a brand new 2010 MINI Cooper Clubman -- it is PACKED with upgrades including the sunroof and body color roof with spoiler. I recently started looking at graphics for the exterior of the car (bonnet stripes, sunroof wrap, etc) and am a little bit concerned with the life of those graphics.

All of the research I have done suggests that the graphics last about 3 - 5 years. I have also read that you should hand-wash your car if you have exterior graphics.

I am curious as to whether or not anyone has had issues with their exterior graphics? How do you wash your car? What graphics did you install?

I have hand washed and waxed vehicles , my other cars had vinyl on it for 13 years and still looks good. Mini's 5 years old and still looks good ...
I've seen mini installed stripes in the 7 year old range still looking good

 

I love that site! Great stuff, the only question I have is what would be the best way to have it installed? Should I get a "pro", I'd hate to mess it up! Any ideas???

 

if you are descent with instructions he includes good instructions , but if it were me I'd do a wet install
