Window Tinting

Window Tinting
I am contemplating geting my windows tinted on a '08 cooper S. I've talked to companies that do the tinting, they are telling me that because of the design of the car a lot of mini owners are returning to have them retinted. The Problem seems to be that inside the door from there is a devise that rubs agains the window (when opened and closed) that rubs the tint off; therefore having to return to have the windows retinted.
Has anyone had this problem? Is it recommended not to get a mini tinted? Or to go to the dealer to get it tinted instead of an outside company. The dealer offers tinting for $499 + tax, the companies that I've found do the same job for $225 total.
What is recommended????
Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm in a Mini cooper car club here in the East bay area. We've all taken our Mini's to Classy Glass Tinting in Antioch Ca. This shop has done a lot of mini's and has a great reputation. His attention to detail is on point. He's done at least 8 of our mini's in our club. His prices are way below other shops and Best of all They us Llumar window film with a lifetime warranty. He gave us a multi car discount!! This shop needs to be listed in the forum for all Mini owners looking for a flawless tint job on your car! Give this shop a call you will love your car after it's all tinted up and ready for the summer!! Thank you Classy Glass...
