I am new to here. We are trying to buy our first mini. We found a 2013 mini hardto, 2dr, hatcback. It has 1.6L, engine, automatic transmission. Car has 63000 mile on it. It's exterior looks good. I dont understand from cars thats why i have no idea about engine. However i did 0-60 test. It took 11.8 sec to reach 0 to 60.
I understand a lot of thing can impact. Mini's rear tires are not good, have very few tread. Front tires are in good condition, has a lot of tread.
When i search 2013 mini 0-60 time people report around 7 sec.
my question is that is 11.8 normal, considering tire conditions. Car does not have any accident. It is maintained regularly it seems from carfax. There is oil change record in every 15k mile or so.

Dealer does not allow me to take it to mini dealer for pre-purchase inspection, because it is about 25 mile away. They said i can take it to some mechanic in less than 3 mile around.
We are aggreed on 10,300 dollar price excluding tax.
Does this conversation sound good.
Does 11.8 sec tells something about engine?
