Battery Installation Cost
I recently had to replace the battery in my 2017 Cooper S manual. The dealership was going to charge me $700.00 - including the battery for installation. They claimed the alternator and other car components needed to be calibrated. I find this outrageous. Is this necessary to have the e.g. alternator calibrated when a new battery is installed?
