2005 MCS bought new; now with 36K miles, warranty expiring. No major problems. Love the car and will keep it indefinitely. Offered comprehensive extended warranty through dealer; $3300 for additional 4 years/48000 miles; in my case, to about 88000 miles.

Just inquiring about reliablity in the out-years and cost-effectiveness of an extended warranty. Thanks!

 

I'd say it's a good deal , A tranny or power sterring/supercharger failure can cost that much
