Factory warranty is days from expiring.....dealer wants $3450 for 7years /100,000 miles. Are there better deals out there honored by Mini?

 

I'd shop around there are tons of companies that do extended warranty just be sure they will work at the dealership

I was quoted $1200 for 4 years unlimited

 

still undecided if I want to cough up 3500 bucks for an extended warranty.........what problems are Coopers know to have? Is it worth it an extended warranty?

Likely one of the more Expensive repairs are the Power steering going out ...
It's an electric pump , and $1800 for a new one , $250 for a fan (I'd recomend replacing both) plus labor ... they sell a reman one for about half that
