Default My Mini caught on fire while driving

Hi any one there that ralates to this post,
It was really wired my mini caught on fire while I was driving it, not to long after I got it from the garaje where they fix my car, I did not drive it to much coz it needed a new CPU but when I drove it for more that 20 minutes it starting burning, it looks like the fire started by the head light a short circuite or something like this, have anyone heard of some thing like this in a Mini before? Pls let me know…
Thank you

Sorry about your Mini but I've never heard of a fire like that starting from where you said it started.

Never heard of that location.

Gen 1 MINI Cooper 2002-2008 have Power steering pump issues,.

Gen 2 MINI Cooper S 2007+ had a recall for the aux water pump that is up near the driver side transmission. That's close to the headlight.

I also never caught wind of this thing. As in my car there was additionally one issue, yet it was that when I used to drive my used Audi car than it some of the time odors like smoldering elastic. So I didn't disregard it and instantly took it for support and maintenance.
