Ok so backround story is that my fathers friend is a wholesaler. He picked up a 2005 Mini Cooper S 6spd for 2200. Has 207k, leather, roofs, some sound system, unsure what other options it has. Its a 1-Owner car. Was wondering how much these cars can take? I need a DD as i drive 140 miles a day for work. How reliable are they? any real known issues i should worry about? Nada says its valued at 7kish

 

I have an 04 Cooper S but I don't have as many miles as yours does. I've heard both sides of the stories. Some being really bad to not having any issues at all. With 207k on yours right now. I'm sure you have plenty left in her. Good luck
