Spare tire on convertible

Spare tire on convertible
I am thinking of getting a mini convertible and tour the country. If I read the site correctly, there is NO spare tire. Am I correct and if so what happens if I am in the middle of the Mojave Desert and I get a flat.

Well, there's no spare on the S, the Cooper has one. Actually, I don't know about the convertible.
All new cars come with MINI roadside and you can always get some fix-a-flat slime and a 12V compressor. I've done 4 cross country trips in mine and never really let it bother me.[8D]
