Newbie here, so if this has been asked/answered, my apologies. I did a search, but couldn't find anything re: this topic.

I'm about to lease a ClubmanS, and the dealer is recommending that I purchase the Road Hazard coverage, which also covers tire and rim replacement. With the run flats being pretty expensive, as well as the rims, does anyone here have an opinion re: whether or not paying $888 for 3 years of coverage is worth it?

What are your road conditions like ??? Large potholes ??? If so those can detroy a rim/tire and you'll be out big $$$ I doubt it covers normal wear , but if it covers flats/rim damage it might be worth it if the roads warrant it ... if I was in Florida or Cali I doubt I'd buy it

 

I would be careful with that price, it may not be firm. when I bought my mini last month, the price for a tire plan was initially $400.00. I balked, then it went to $250.00. I ended up paying $200.00. when all was said and done. I probably should have passed on it anyway.
