Unhappy 2010 MINI Clubman Owner
Hi folks -
Hopefully someone here can advise. I purchased a new 2010 Clubman (total impulse buy) and they talked me into the Extended Service Plan for $2195.00 (OUCH). I went back 3 days later and asked to have that option removed and for my money back... round and round we go - MINI USA blaming the dealership, dealership blaming MIN USA, he said she said - sorry there's nothing we can do.
Despite the fact I paid full price for the car, got the crappy MINI Select financing plan, and I got hosed on the WAY OVER PRICED Extended Maintenance Plan, I do like the car. Although there are some rattles with less than 1k miles. Also, the tail pipe is caked with soot after 150 miles.
I know I'm stuck with the car and paying too much, but how can I get back that service plan money? Any thoughts? The dealership is a total effen scam shop... thinking of taking the car to another dealership for service and reporting them to the DMV and BBB

Unfortunately they saw you coming and took advantage of you.
Certain states have up to 7 days to cancel any contract you might want to consult an attorney for your state laws... Unfortunately another California person had a similar issue and they have no such law in california
