I'm about to bite on a clean 05 6speed manual Mini Cooper S. It has just under 75k. I'm currently in a very much loved Subaru Legacy Spec.B but the wife really wants a new mini and I think I'm ready to move on and learn about these cars. At the mileage This car is at, what should I check first? Common Problems, best preemptive checks or things to replace etc. All input is greatly appreciated!

 

The Spec B is a beautiful car and rare to find. Do keep that in mind. MINI's are known for their problems. The Subaru will be better in terms of reliability. The MINI is a fun little car though. Check out the R53 buyers guide HERE for common issues/problems that may arise. Good luck!
