I have a 08 Clubman with a blown engine.(rod went through block) I am trying to purchase a used engine but am having trouble determining what will actually fit. Will a base or convertible motor fit in if I change all my accessories over including the intake and exhaust manifolds? It is a 6 speed manual and is not an S model. Can anyone help me clear this up? I have located lots of engines but I want to know if it will actually fit before I have one shipped to me. Thanks Joe

 

I would think a hatchback engine would fit in a clubman, can not think of a reason BMW would use a different engine setup on that model. They both use the N12 engine don't they? The question I have is why did the engine throw a rod through the block?

 

This mini was towed behind the previous owners motor home. They left it in gear while towing it.
