09 mini Cooper head gasket replacement

Default 09 mini Cooper head gasket replacement
I just change the head gasket on my 09 mini Cooper s. Everything went well except when I went to start the car a lot of engine oil came out of a hole right next to the vvt solenoid. I don't remembered removing anything else but the vvt. Can someone please help me identify what goes in there.
