Hi everybody, I have a 2012 Mini Cooper S. I was thinking about up grading to a K&N air filter when replacement time rolls around. I recall reading somewhere not to use K&N filters because of a chance of oil dripping from the element on to a wire in the air flow sensor and causing big problems. I don't know if this was Mini specific or just a general warning. I've used them in other vehicles without any issues. Any Mini techs have any comments/input?
