Mini cooper owner 07 plate (London). About a year ago I couldnt get AM radio stations on the car radio in my mini and havent been able to since. Has anyone got any idea how to rectify this as it was able to play these stations when I got the motor.

It plays fm stations fine and CD's etc but when you change to AM its just dead. Is there a button to switch or reboot I can do etc etc. This would save me a trip to the local dealer.

I'd bet the AM end of the radio died ...It uses the same antenna so it's OK (you get FM)
try to pick up a used radio or get an aftermarket one
