I have a 2012 r56 8 weeks new to me 105 k , my first baby , the OBD 2 ultragauge I got for it since the first week has been solid telling me if i hit 226 degrees as well intercooler temps suck. I commute in the DC traffic Jam it is about to get hot here.
I want a over performing coolant if their is such a thing for my mini. I am replacing the intercooler in the morning and all the hoses for the hot and cold side of it. I removed the reservoir tank to yank out that stupid muffler in the intercooler hose linkage
as well as the cabin delete was already performed.
In this process I find that I have blue and green mixed in the system already. Figure this could also be an issue for the cooling temps irregularities.
I am looking for a racing brand since it can handle higher temps better , any recommendations? No I am not racing it.
