Automatic transmission is beginning to go
I live in Chattanooga and I'm looking for a place to work on my transmission. My mechanic said the CVTs can't be rebuilt so they have to be replaced. I don't want to take it to a dealer. He guessed this would end up costing around $5,000. What is the going rate out there for a new tranny? Can anyone recommend a trustworthy place to take it in the Chattanooga area?
