coolant and heating system

Default coolant and heating system
Hi I am new to this forum can you help me....The car is now taking a very long time for the heating system to warm the interior of the car. Also the coolant light is now coming on as I drive and the fan is staying on long after the car is switched off.......My car is a mini cooper s conv on a 05 plate.........
