The window on the drivers side moved up the 1/2 inch when I shut the door. The problem is that the window was already to the top and now it is stuck. It won't move up or down. I do hear the click when I push the window switch, but that's it. I started checking fuses and now the passenger side window won't retract the 1/2 inch when you open the door. It will still go up and down however. I read the other posts and tried banging on the door panel (this did nothing). I have a service manual and will try to get to the switch and motor, but does anyone have any special instructions/information as to a special test(s) that will lead to the fault.
