fuel door not staying closed 2019 cooper

Default fuel door not staying closed 2019 cooper
Having problems with my fuel door on my wife's 2019 cooper base model.

The door stays open about a half inch to an inch. the locks are unlocked and the pin for the lock on the door is not obstructing it. Cant figure what it is maybe the hinge is messed up ?

you are correct. It fixed itself with the warm weather. I had a feeling it was that cause nothing looked broken it just wouldn’t stay all the way closed.

Ok, yep water tends to collect there in freezing rain.
