fuel filter on a r57

Default fuel filter on a r57

is there a fuel filter on the r57 ? dealers says its a life long one but I see on the r56 its replaceable !! I'm confused

What year is your R57? And what are the last 7 digits of your vehicles vin number? I can confirm, but yours may be intigrated into the sending unit. Have you taken a look under your seat to see if you have one? Nothing is "life time" on these vehicles and we suggest servicing all parts that are serviceable.

My r57 is 2011 and last 7 0f the vin is , ty86996 , I have looked at both of the units and only see a mesh gauze on one of the units , I have spoken to different motorfactors and then the main dealer and they all said it was un replaceable but I seen your page and got really confused :-) thanks for the reply
