Grounded Alternator to heat shield. Now what?

Default Grounded Alternator to heat shield. Now what?

While making replacing the gaskets for the oil filter housing and oil cooler I dropped a socket between the alternator and the heat shield. I heard a load pop and the car electronics went dead. I continued with the repairs. When I started the car I noticed the windows go up or down,the heater does not work and I get the following faults from my reader:
D904 CAS: K-CAN line fault not present
A0B4 CAS: Engine start, starter operation not present
A0B6 CAS: Selector-lever interlock not present
A0C1 CAS: Output, terminal 50 not present
A0B5 CAS: Fault, road speed signal not present
2783 DME: Combustion misfires, several cylinders not present
2773 DME: Combustion misfires, cylinder 1 not present
2C8D DME: Power management, battery not present
277F DME: Combustion misfires, cylinder 2 not present
2F8F DME: Engine shutdown time, plausibility present
5E31 DSC control unit, voltage fault, undervoltage not present
5E30 DSC control unit, voltage fault, undervoltage not present
5DF0 DSC DSC sensor, voltage error not present
5DF5 DSC interface, JBE signal fault not present

9E31 SZL: Undervoltage not present
93D0 ACSM/MRS: Undervoltage not present
E5C4 CID: K-CAN line fault not present
A528 IBOC: Control unit: internal fault present
9C75 IHKA: Undervoltage or overvoltage not present
E72B No message (selector lever position power window regulator front passenger door), receiver integrated automatic heating / air conditioning system/IHKS/IHS, transmitter footwell module not present
E72C No message (selector lever position power window regulator driver's door), receiver integrated automatic heating / air conditioning system/IHKS/IHS, transmitter footwell module present
A559 Instrument cluster: Power supply has been switched off (closed-circuit current cutoff relay) not present
9314 KOMBI: Trip-odometer reset button not present
A86E JBE: Undervoltage to terminal 30 not present
A12B JBE: Rain/light sensor, overvoltage/undervoltage not present

if you havent fixed it....check all the fuses on the JBE, the relays in the engine compartment, and start replacing. just hope you didnt fry any of the modules.

thanks for the suggestion. Issue is resolved. I bought a new battery, cleared all codes , reset windows and convertible top.
