Hi! First post in here, and as you can see from my username I'm a jap fan, I dont have a mini but a friend does but he doesn't have internet access so I've joined up to ask a few questions as I know nothing about minis!

He has a MY10 Cooper S, and is looking for a few general tweaks and so on. I have been talking to him about upgrading the ARB's but not sure what is available for the mini. I had a look on the whiteline website and see that they do a 20mm rear bar only, is this right? Which should you upgrade first front or rear and what thickness?

The other area is power (obviously) he wants to fit a stainless steel exhaust, can you do this without needing a map? What other engine mods do you reccomend? What power can the engine take safely?

We will also be looking at brakes, but this will probably be in the form of braidedlines, upgraded pads and discs.

My friend is not looking to go crazy, just a few little tweaks that will enhance the car.
