HELP! key programming issue- 2002 R53
(2002 R53 Mini Cooper S) Has anyone ever encountered this problem? i went to a reputable (non-dealer) key programmer to have a new key programmed. It was coded and cut and tried in the car. Worked flawlessly to open doors and start the car. no issues. Then when the remote part of the key was attempting to be programmed, suddenly both the new and old keys stropped allowing the car to start. They are both recognized, both activate everything inside the car, but will not trigger the starter. I have to think it's an immobilizer issue? any help is greatly appreciated! i'm really needing my car back!
thanks in Advance!
