Just got another Mini and this one is an 03 S. As it comes with 43,000 miles, and I live about 300 miles from the closest Mini Dealer, I thought it be a good idea to change oil and check the air filter for starters. I loosened the screws holding the air filter box down, however it has the oddest hose clamps I have ever seen. Do those have to be cut off and replaced with the regular screw type clamps, or how do you get them loose?
