So i baught a 2006 mini cooper convertible a few days ago and i can't get the top down. I would think that i just continue to hold or release/repress the sunroof button, but that isn't working.

i baught from a non-mini dealer and the salesmen had no idea how to do it, no manuals included although on order.

you hold the button down then wait for windows to go down , but if you mean the top or electric motor will not work you can manually put top down or up , above drivers head on that plastic looking roll bar you take that cover off and there is a tool to put it up and down with in trunk . i have 05 convertible so far no probs . also look in manual for more instructions
