Default If you own a 2002-2006 mini cooper you can help me!!

Hey guys, I'm new to the mini scene....

I went ahead and started replacing a bunch of parts and noticed one of the check engine lights was for the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor.

When I went to replace the sensor behind the lower Grill, Not only was there no sensor there but there was no wire or harness that I could see anywhere

I called the dealer and spoke to the parts department and no one could steer me in the right direction

Does anyone have any idea where the wires from the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor go? I literally cannot find anything online other than a picture of where it's mounted but no where does it mention the wires!

all I would need you to do is look behind your lower Grill by either removing it or jacking up the car. There will be a sensor behind the lower grill with wires leading to a plug somewhere that I can't find. If you can tell me where those wires lead to I will be eternally grateful. If you can take a picture that would help! Thank you so much in advance

It comes from the drivers side under the inner fender. there is a bundle that goes to all the lights and it's in there with them.
Take off the inner fender and have a good look. You may be able to see if from underneath if you can get under it.
